High Court of Gujarat invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up
the following post:
Post (पद): Librarian
No. of Posts(रिक्तियों की संख्या): 30
Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुà¤à¤µ):
i. Bachelor of Library and Information Science or its equivalents Degree from a University recognized by the Government.
ii. Preferably Degree in Law.
iii. Besides prescribed qualification, a candidate must possess a certificate regarding basic knowledge of computer as prescribed by the State Government from time to time.
iv. Sufficient Knowledge of English, Gujarati and Hindi Language.
B. Experience Required:
Candidate must have 02 years experience of working in any well organized Library after obtaining degree.
Age(आयु): i. A Candidate applying to the said post, shall not be less than 21 years and not more than 37 years of age, as on the last date for submitting Online Application.
Pay (वेतनमान): Pay Matrix of ₹ 25,500-81,100/- plus usual allowances
Last Date (आवेदन की अंतिम तारीख): 20.10.2026
How To Apply:
i. Candidates belonging to the Reserved Category i.e Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) / Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) / Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), shall be required to pay Fees of ₹ 750/- plus the usual Bank Charges and all other candidates shall be required to pay Fees of ₹ 1500/- plus the usual Bank Charges via “Print Application/Pay Fees” Button through SBI e-Pay, provided on the webpage of HC-OJAS Portal - htt ps://hc-ojas.gujarat.gov.inii.
