Qualification (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):
For Direct Recruitment:
(i) Second class Masters’ or Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences
(ii) Degree or diploma in Library Science
(iii) At least seven years’ experience as a librarian of an important library.
For Promotion/Deputation:
Promotion from amongst Deputy Directors (Documentation) having rendered at least 3 years’ service in the grade. Transfer/Deputation from persons holding analogous or equivalent post to the Deputy Director (Documentation) in the ICSSR or a central or state government department or an autonomous organization similar to ICSSR.
Age for Direct Recruitment: Below 55 years
