Kazi Nazrul University, Burdwan invites online applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Librarian.
Essential Educational Qualification (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता) and Experience (अनुà¤à¤µ):
i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.
ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.
iv. A minimum score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance
Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as stipulated in the UGC Regulations 2016 in Appendix III
Table VII.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता): A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science /documentation /archives and manuscript keeping.
Age Limit (आयु सीमा): Age limit for the post of Librarian may be followed as per the Govt. of W.B. Rules/ Guidelines / Order in this regard and their amendments from time to time.
ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian.
