Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुà¤à¤µ): Deputation (Including short term contract):
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or
Union Territories, Universities, recognised Research Institutions,
Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous bodies etc.
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or
organisation; or
(ii) with five years‟ regular service in post in the pay level-6 (Rs.
35,400-1,12,400/- ) in the pay matrix or equivalent; and
(b) Possessing the following qualification and experience namely: -
(i) Bachelors‟ degree in Library Science or Library and Information
Science of a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Two years‟ professional experience in a Library under Central
or State Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or
PSU or University or Recognised Research or Educational
Institution.
Note. 1.- The period of deputation, including the period of
deputation in another ex-Cadre post held immediately preceding this
appointment in the same or some other organization or department
of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Note. 2- The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation
shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of
receipt of applications.‟

Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुà¤à¤µ):
Deputation
Officers under the central/state govt.
(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre.
(ii)three years‟ regular service in the level-1 in the Pay Matrix.; and
(b) Possessing a Bachelor Degree in Library Science.
(c) Working Knowledge of Computer.
Note-1. Period of deputation, including the period of deputation in
another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment
in the same or some other organization or department of the Central
Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Note-2. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall
be `Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of
applications.
Pay (वेतनमान): Pay Level 2
Last Date (आवेदन की अंतिम तारीख): Within 60 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News.
