Library Professional at IISER, Mohali | Last Date: 13.08.2026

IISER, Mohali is looking for dedicated and committed Indian Nationals to fill up following vacancies:

Post (पद):  Library Professional 

No. of Posts (रिक्तियों की संख्या): 03 ( 03- SC and 01-EWS)  

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

Any Bachelor’s Degree (Preference will be given to Bachelors in Science) and Masters in Library & Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent with consistent good academic and conduct record. 

Desirable Knowledge:  Knowledge of Computers, IT & digital application in libraries. However, those who have Degree in Computer Science will be given preference. Good communication skills in both English and Hindi. 

Pay (वेतनमान): Rs.18,000/- per month in First Year, and  Rs.20,000/- per month in Second Year.  

Age Limit: 30 years for EWS and 35 years for SC

1. Application Form may be downloaded from the Institute’s website (https://web.iisermohali.ac.in:8080/noticeportal/non-teaching-positions). The application form duly filled in the prescribed format and complete in all respects, signed and  accompanied with self- attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, caste  certificate along with recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed on the application form, should be sent to “The Registrar, Despatch Section, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, Sector-81,   P. O. Manauli, S. A. S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab–140306” by 13.08.2026 till 05:00 p.m. positively. 

2.   The envelope containing the complete application form along with all attachments must be superscribed as “Application for the post of “Library Professional”. 

3. Applicant is required to send the synopsis (format available on Institute website) by email to library@iisermohali.ac.in. While sending the synopsis sheet duly filled-in, it should remain editable.
