Library Professional Trainees Recruitment at IIT Ropar Last Date: 20.08.2026

IIT Ropar invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following post:

Post (पद): Library Professional Trainees

Essential Qualification and Experience  (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

Masters in Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc) or equivalent with First Class.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of computers, IT Applications in Libraries, Library Management System

Pay (वेतनमान): Consolidated stipend of  Rs. 25,000/- per month 

Age Limit: Not exceeding 26 years as on the date of walk-in-interview. Relaxation for different categories will be applicable as per Govt. of India rules. (i.e.  upto age of 29 years for OBC category candidates, 31 years for SC/ST category candidates)
