Professional Assistant, Library Assistant, Library Attendant posts at Central University of Karnataka:Last Date- 5th October 2019

The Central University of Karnataka invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to the following Non-Teaching positions:

Post (पद): Professional Assistant (1- UR)

Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव ): 

(i) Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from any recognised University/Institution with one year experience in the relevant field in a University/Research Establishment/Central/State Govt. /PSU and Library of other autonomous institutions.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Library/ Library & Information Science from any recognised institute / University with 3 years’ experience in the relevant field in a University Research Establishment/Central/State Govt. /PSU and Library of other autonomous institutions.
(ii) Knowledge of computer applications

Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):  

PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or Equivalent. 

Pay ( वेतनमान ): Level- 6 (35400-112400)

Age Limit (आयु सीमा):Not exceeding 35 years (relaxable for SCs/STs/OBCs/PWDs and other categories in accordance with the Govt. of India orders)

Post (पद): Library Assistant (2- UR)

Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव ): 

Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science
OR
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Diploma/ Certificate in Library Sciencefrom a recognized institution.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):  

(i) Working knowledge of Computer Applications as evidenced by a Diploma/Certificate Course from a recognized institution.

(ii) Experience of working in a Library.

Pay ( वेतनमान ): Level -3 (21700- 69100)

Age Limit (आयु सीमा):  Between 18 and 27 years of age (relaxable for Government Servants up to 40 years & for SCs/STs/OBCs/PWDs and other categories in accordance with the Govt. of

India orders)

Post (पद): Library Attendant (03- UR, 01-OBC)

Essential Qualification and Experience (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव ): 

(i) 10th class from a recognized School/Board.
(ii) Certificate Course in Library Science from a recognized Institution.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):  

12th class from a recognized Board/School.

Pay ( वेतनमान ): Level -1 (18000-56900)

Age Limit (आयु सीमा):Between 18 and 27 years of age (relaxable for SCs/STs/OBCs/PWDs and other categories in accordance with the Govt. of India orders)

Last Date for receipt of Online Application (ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तारीख): 05/10/2019
