Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

A. Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with Diploma in Library Science from any recognized University, or 
B. Master’s Degree in any Discipline with Diploma in Library Science from any recognized University. 

Pay (वेतनमान): 

A. For candidates having essential qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline: Pay Band 3, Pay Band Scale Rs. 7100/‐ ‐‐ 37600/‐, Pay in the Band Rs. 8370/‐, Grade Pay Rs. 3900/‐ , Basic Pay at Entry Point Rs. 12270/‐ of ROPA 09 (Scale 10 of ROPA 98), and
B. For Candidates having essential qualification of Master’s Degree in any Discipline Pay Band 3, Pay Band Scale Rs. 7100/‐ ‐‐ Rs. 37600/‐, Pay in the Band Rs. 8650/‐ , Grade Pay Rs. 4100/‐ , Basic Pay at Entry Point Rs. 12750/‐ of ROPA 09 (Scale 11 of ROPA 98)

Age Limit (आयु सीमा): 18‐39 years as on 1.1.2019, or as per existing Government Rule
