Walk-In-Interview for 10 Post of Project Associate and 20 Posts of Trainee in Library Science at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi is looking for candidates for the selection of Project Associate and Trainee in a project under National Mission on Libraries (NML) called National Virtual Library of India (NVLI) funded by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India for a period of Six months.

Post (पद): Project Associate (Library Science)

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):

Masters in Library Science (MLIS) with first Division.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):
Two years experience in a reputed organization with Koha and DSpace with understanding of Metadata standards MARC21 and Dublin Core.

Pay (वेतन): ₹30,000/- to ₹40,000/- per month.
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 45 Years

Bachelor of Library Science (BLIS).
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता):
Preference will be given to those who have experience in cataloguing, indexing and working in Koha and DSpace.

Pay (वेतन): ₹20,000/- per month.

How to apply (आवेदन कैसे करे): 

(i) The candidate shall report at the given time & address along with original certificates and two self attested Xerox copies and latest passport size photograph as well as copies of PAN & Aadhar Card. 
(ii) Candidate shall not be allowed after 09:30 am on given Walk-in Interview date.
(iIi) No TA / DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in interview.
