No of posts (रिक्तियों की संख्या): 26 (SC-6,ST-2,OBC-A(NCL)-3,OBC-B(NCL)-2,PH(Low Vision or Blindness-1)) Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता):
1.A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record.
2.Should have qualified in the National/ State Eligibility Test (NET/SLET/SET) for Librarianship conducted by the University Grants Commission or the West Bengal College Service Commission or any other agency approved by the University Grants Commission.
Pay (वेतनमान): Rs. 15,600 –39,100 plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000 and allowances
Age(आयु): Not more than 40 (forty) years as on 01.01.2019.
