Union Public Service Commision invites online recruitment applications (ORA*) for recruitment by selection for the post of Principal Library and Information Officer,National Library, Kolkata, Ministry of Culture .

Post (पद):  Principal Library and Information Officer

No of posts (रिक्तियों की संख्या):   (UR-01)
Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता)  (i) Master’s degree of a recognized university or equivalent
(ii) Master’s degree in Library Science of a recognized university/institute or equivalent.  
Experience (अनुभव):Twelve years working experience in a recognized Library including experience in administration.
Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता): (a) Doctorate degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
(b) Five years experience in computerization/modernization of a recognized library.
Pay (वेतनमान): Level-13 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age(आयु): 50 years
