UPSC invited online applications for recruitment by selection to the following post:

Post (पद):  Assistant Library And Information Officer

No. of Posts: 3(UR)

Qualifications (शैक्षिक):

(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; 
(ii) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science of a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.

Experiences (अनुभव):

Two years’ experience in a recognized Library or two years’ experience in computerization of a recognized library or Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute or equivalent. 
NOTE-: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 
Desirable(वांछित):
Master’s Degree in Library Science of a recognized University / Institute or equivalent. 

Pay (वेतन): Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age Limit (आयु सीमा): 30 years

Last Date for receipt of online Application (अंतिम तारीख): 30/07/2020
