Vacancy of Senior Library & Information Officer at Delhi Public Library: Last Date- 31/01/2021

Delhi Public Library is looking to fill up the post of  Senior Library & Information Officer by Composite Method of promotion/deputation (including Short term contract).

Post (पद): Senior Library & Information Officer

Library and Information Officers in the Pay level 11(Rs.67700-208700) with 5 years regular service in the grade and officers of the Central/State Government, Central/State Autonomous Bodies/ Public Undertakings; 

a) Holding analogous Post on regular basis Or with 5 years regular services in the Post in Pay level 11(Rs.67700-208700) or equivalent.

b) Possessing the educational qualification and experience as shown below in para 2.

c) In case the department officer is selected, His/Her appointment will be treated to have been made by promotion.

Essential Qualification (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ): 

i) Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from a Recognised University Institute or Equivalent.

ii) 7 years professional experience in a supervisory capacity in a Library under Central/State Government Autonomous or Statutory Organization /PSU./University or Recognised Research or educational Institution. Desirable: 

Desirable (वांछनीय आवश्यकता): 

Experience of Computerizing library activities and networking with other libraries.

Age Limit (आयु सीमा): 

Note:

1) The period of deputation (including Short term contract) shall not exceed 3 years.

2) The age limit for deputation (including Short term contract) shall not exceed 56 years.

The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date of receipt of application from the candidates

Pay (वेतनमान):  Pay Matrix Level-12 (Rs 78,800-2,09,200).

Last Date for receipt of Application (अंतिम तारीख): 31/01/2021
