1. M.Sc. Degree in Library Science or Library and information service from a recognized university/ Institute.

2. Degree/Diploma in computer from a recognized institute.

3. 5 Years’ experience in a library of reputed institution preferably in Medical College

Desirable:

M.Phil/Ph.D in library Science/Information Science and Documentation.
One year professional experience in indexing work of health services literature.

Pay (वेतनमान): Level-10

Age Limit (आयु): Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Officers of the Central/ State, UT Governments or Officers of the Central Autonomous / Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings

A. i) Holding Analogous posts on regular basis; or

ii) Posts in the scale of Level 6 as per 7 CPC with 3 years of regular service in the grade; and

B. possessing the following qualification:

iii) M. Sc/ M.A./ M. Com, Degree and

iv) Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences; and

v) Experience in acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a Medical or other Library of standing;

Age(आयु): 56years

Pay (वेतनमान): PB:2; Level-7 of 7th CPC Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- as per 6th CPC

Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized university or institute.
