Jadavpur University, Kolkata Recruitment for Project fellow

A walk-in interview will be held for the following position under a collaborative project titled ‘Two Centuries of Indian Print’

No of posts( रिक्तियों की संख्या ): 1(One) 
Educational Qualification( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) and Experience(अनुभव): 

Candidate must have a first class MA degree, in the humanities/ social sciences/ library science/ museology etc. from a reputed university. The candidate must have knowledge of printing and publishing in Bengal. The candidate should be fluent in English and Bengali, and should have experience of creating and maintaining online sites, databases etc.

Desirable( वांछनीय योग्यता ):
Courses taken in book history/ bibliography/ palaeography/ archiving/ conservation/ piublishing; experience in digitising and creating metadata. 
Pay( वेतन ): ₹ 22,000/- p.m.
Walk-in interview(प्रवेश साक्षात्कार): 13/01/2018  at 11 am in the Head of the Department’s office in the Department of English, UG Arts Building, Jadavpur University
