Rabindranath Tagore University invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following post:

Post (पद): Assistant Librarian

No. of Posts(रिक्तियों की संख्या): 02

Essential Qualification and Experience  (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

a) Masters in Library and Information Science/Documentation Science from a recognized University with latest UGC norms.

Desirable qualification: 

a) Experience of working in any University/College library in the similar or junior grade. 

b) Ability to handle computer and to work with library related software.

Pay (वेतनमान): As per UGC

Post (पद): Library Assistant

No. of Posts(रिक्तियों की संख्या): 05

Essential Qualification and Experience  (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

a) Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized University.

Desirable qualification: 

a) Candidates with experience of working in library of any educational or government institution shall be preferred. 

b) Ability to work with computer is necessary so that they may engaged in computer lab and language lab of the University or in any other information related work.

Pay (वेतनमान): Rs. 14000- Rs. 49000 G.P. Rs. 6200

Post (पद): Library Bearer

No. of Posts(रिक्तियों की संख्या): 01

Essential Qualification and Experience  (अनिवार्य शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

a) HSLC passed from a recognized School/institution. 

Desirable qualification: 

a) Ability to handle electronic equipment including computer, photocopier and management of electronic system of office communications within and outside the university.

Pay (वेतनमान): Rs. 12000-Rs. 37500 G. P Rs.4400
