The main objective of the Institute is to develop manpower to serve the persons with locomotor impairments of all age groups. Qualification and Experience (शैक्षिक आवश्यकता और अनुभव):

For Deputation
In case of transfer on deputation officers of the central govt. with 5 yrs. service in the next lower grade shall be eligible.
For Direct Recruitment
Essential Qualification: Degree from recognized University with Diploma Degree in Library Science
Desirable: 2 year experience

Pay( वेतन ): Pay Matrix Level-7  (Pre-revised pay scale of ₹9300-34800/- + GP ₹4600/-) 
Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ): 56 Years for Deputation Basis & 28-35 Years for Direct Recruitment
